ICR Recognized as a Finalist for PRWeek 2015 Midsize PR Agency of the Year

ICR, a leading strategic communications firm, today announced that it has been named one of five finalists for the PRWeek Awards 2015 in the Midsize PR Agency of the Year category, one of the highest accolades in the PR industry.

Established in 1998, ICR was founded on the premise that former senior-level Wall Street veterans combined with traditional PR agency professionals can offer companies a communications partner with an inside view of how the capital markets and media respond to corporate news. Over the past sixteen years, the firm has focused on increasing the impact and relevance of PR by more closely aligning communications programs with companies’ overall business objectives, an approach that has tremendous influence on the value of the enterprise as a whole.

“We’re pleased to be included among this year’s prestigious group of finalists for PRWeek’s Midsize PR Agency of the Year,” said Tom Ryan, CEO, ICR. “As companies have faced increasingly complex communications challenges, ICR has evolved from its initial vision of bringing Wall Street insight to investor and corporate communications, and is now sought out to shape corporate messages for every key stakeholder audience. That evolution continues with a fantastic team of professionals who are the key driver of our exceptional record of long term growth. We are humbled to be recognized as a PRWeek finalist for 2015.”

Entering its 16th year, the annual PRWeek Awards celebrate excellence in campaigns, techniques, personalities and business. The Midsize PR Agency of the Year category, awarded to the best firm with a current annual PR income of $10 million to $65 million, is determined based on financial and client-list growth, client retention, creativity and innovation, and staff and office factors such as retention, new hires, and training, as well as brand and thought leadership.

The finalists for Midsize PR Agency of the Year include Allison+Partners, Catalyst, ICR, Ruder Finn and Text100.
