Edward Ruff

Edward is ICR’s Head of Equity Capital Markets division providing independent capital markets and strategic advisory for public and private companies. With over 15 years of experience at premier Wall Street investment banks, Edward is a leading expert on IPOs, follow-on’s, M&A financing, private capital raises, PIPEs, cross-border listings, de-SPACs, corporate separations including carve-out IPOs and spin-offs. Edward has advised and executed transactions across a wide range of sectors, but specializes in industrials, industrial tech, natural resources and energy transition.

Edward has advised and completed over 150 transactions raising more than $100 billion of capital on over 40 IPOs and 100 follow-on offerings, majority as the Lead Left or Active Bookrunner. Additionally, Edward served as Lead Placement Agent on numerous private placements / PIPEs and was M&A advisor on many high-profile transactions. Prior to joining ICR, Edward was the Head of Equity Capital Markets at Cabrera Capital in Chicago and Managing Director at Citigroup Equity Capital Markets in New York.

Edward received his MBA from Vanderbilt University, Masters in Accountancy and B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Edward is a FINRA-registered representative holding Series 24, 7, 79 and 63 licenses and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Edward is a proud Father and enjoys spending time with his family. He is an avid golfer and loves hunting and fishing in Wisconsin.
